Being in that grey zone after a break up can seem gloomy and unending.  It is a situation that makes it seem like there can be no more happiness in life.  I know, I've been there.  This is especially true for those who want to get back after a break up.  If you want to get back your ex boyfriend after a recent break up it may seem like you may be just day dreaming.  Well regardless of who broke up with who, you CAN get him back and I'm going to tell you exactly how to do it.

The first thing you need to do is to take some time for yourself.  Yeah this sounds terrible at first but hear me out.  You need to let the dust settle.  Use this time to reflect on the relationship.  A lot of times when a relationship ends it feels terrible, but after time we realize that the relationship was terrible and that maybe the two of you breaking up was a great thing for your life.  During this time do not contact your ex back at all.  Take this time to improve on yourself and get aquainted with you again.

The second thing you need to do is to improve yourself.  This doesn't mean that you aren't deserving of your ex right away.  However, if you make yourself better you look THAT much more attractive to your ex when you do see them.  They will realize how bad they messed up, how much they miss you, and they will want you even more.  If you've gained some weight -- hit the gym, pick up a hobby or even take a vacation all by yourself to a beach you've been wanting to visit.

The third thing is to play the first contact right.  When you see them don't seem overly excited and don't divulge your entire life story to them.  Be casual and be polite.  This will make them wonder if you REALLY miss him or not, and if you want to get back after a break up then this is EXActly what you want.  Maybe sprinkle a few details about how GREAT your life is going but don't be overly ambitious with what you say.  However, I prefer you wait at least a whole month before you make contact with your ex again and try to make HIM contact you.
